Every Tuesday our long running ‘Crafty Crew’ gather during Cake Cafe. Like minded individuals who enjoy crafting and making things take time to get together and share tips and skills whilst enjoying the fresh cake and coffee that Cake Cafe has to offer.

Crafty Crew has played a huge part in Faringdon over the years famously creating an entire crochet window display of food for follyfest! The time and skill that went into it was amazing and a sight to behold.

Without a dedicated co-ordinator structured group sessions and projects no longer occur sadly although there is occasionally a tutored session organised by one or more of the Crafters costing a minimal fee to join in.

These are a friendly and welcoming bunch and if you are interested but have no skills they are happy to welcome you and help you.

Alternatively if you have a skill that you would like to share or perhaps would like to gain experience running a workshop amongst a friendly accepting bunch of individuals then please do drop in and see them.

If you would be interested in volunteering for TPHP and you have a passion for all things craft we would love to hear from you.  To have a new co-ordinator that would bring the ‘crew’ back to it’s former strength and glory would be amazing.  Please do get in touch for a chat – sarah.stoves@thepumphouseproject.org.uk

Crafty Crew runs from 10-12 Tuesdays when Cake Cafe is operational (please see the cake cafe page for details of the annual closures)
